Kennebunkport Cove Cottage
When another architect couldn’t overcome the challenges of expanding an existing home within a shoreland overlay zone and soon-to-be shifting FEMA floodplain requirements, Hidden Architecture stepped in. We transformed the residence from 3.5 bedrooms to 7, maximizing every square inch of a tight lot while honoring regulations and protecting the home’s future. The design not only safeguarded the property but also opened it up to incredible, one-of-a-kind views of a tidal cove. This project is a perfect example of how Hidden Architecture creates places “like nowhere else” for people “unlike anyone else.” Heidi Kirn Photography
