Kennebunk Modern Beach House

This four-bedroom, three-and-a-half-bath residence was designed within one of the region’s most challenging combinations of floodplain and shoreland zoning constraints. Elevated on a specialized driven-pile foundation, the home balances the demands of coastal resiliency with a refined, contemporary New England architectural language.

The project also incorporated a grandfathered two-car garage, carefully remodeled and detailed to complement the new residence and create a cohesive architectural composition. The result is a resilient year-round home that responds thoughtfully to its sensitive coastal setting while maintaining the character and scale of a traditional New England shoreline residence.
